First Visit to Aberjona Nursing & Rehabilitation Center

Some of the 7th and 8th grade students recently went to the Aberjona Nursing & Rehab Center in Winchester, MA. We were able to play card games and Dominoes with the residents. Philip, Daniel, Enzo, and I were able to also play a game called War, with a lady named Caroline. She was nice and funny, and knew how to play the game. There was one specific time when CJ was playing the piano, and there was a resident who knew the piece that CJ was playing. She has dementia, but she remembered her young days playing the piano. After listening for a while she started to cry. When we left the residents waved goodbye, and were happy that we came.
